Grade Minneapolis South High Teachers! South High Page at RateMyTeachers.com

Are you sick and tired of pathetic teachers and insane administrators? Well, thanks to the amazing technology of the Internet, you can now grade your teachers, much like they grade you. We feel that it's about time that kids and parents got a chance to voice their opinions of teachers and administrators. We're not for slander, but we are for exposing the truth. A great resource for exposing the truth is RateMyTeachers.com, where you can find almost any middle or high school in the United States--and if it's not yet listed, you can add it--and from the high schools' page on the site, you can select from a list of teachers, or add unlisted teachers to the list, and then grade the teachers on several different criteria. They also give you a small space to leave additional comments about a teacher. For people moving on to college, the operators of RateMyTeachers.com also operate a similar site, RateMyProfessors.com, for rating college professors.

These two sites have had their share of controversy. Teachers, professors, and school and college administrators across the country have had angry tirades about the site, and many schools have blocked people from accessing the sites on school computers. Since SouthHighSucks.com has been blocked in some local schools, we know what that's like--and we feel it's a badge of honor: if a site is getting school brass so mad that they'll block it and complain to the media, they must be doing something right. That said, their site apparently does delete some comments about teachers due to concerns about libel, and they don't seem to have a concrete method for reviewing administrators and other non-classroom teachers. For that reason, while we heartily encourage people to utilize the South High Page at RateMyTeachers.com, we do want to provide additional space for reviews and commentary about teachers and administrators--and we'd like your tips about possible malfeasance or impropriety that you think school staff may be involved in.
