BOGUS BUDGETING PATROL -- St. Paul School administrators have decided to stop buying most types of textbooks for a year to help balance their budget. One of the books they won't be buying this year is a music text that includes rap "songs."
PAPER-SHUFFLING PATROL -- Minneapolis School administrators are back to their old tricks: meaningless papershuffling maneuvers designed to distract the public, such as the latest proposal to implement a system of area superintendents, for the third time in 40 years!
DUMPSTER PATROL -- SouthHighSucks.com found over a hundred perfectly good childrens' books with library stamping in the dumpster behind the Northeast branch of the Minneapolis Public Library. Why were these books being thrown out? Apparently because Library Staff was too lazy to give them away!
PANDERING PATROL -- The Minneapolis School Board finally made the decision to close schools--which was necessary due to their enrollment declines. But instead of closing schools all over the city, they decided to close schools primarily in low-income areas.
